She was an angel here on earth, now she can continue being an angel in Heaven. Words can not express how much was was and is loved. Airy was a tiny little thing, she was only 3 and a half but if any of you were to meet her you would probably swear she was still just a kit, she was unusually tiny, she could fit perfectly into one hand. Airy was the most gentle soul I have ever known, everything about her and the way she conducted herself was delicate. Even when we would hand wrestle as I call it, when she would bite into my hand she would never use any pressure in fear of hurting me, my other two would sometimes draw blood. Airy was also the ferret I would suggest to my houseguesst to hold when someone would ask to handle one because she was a cuddler and not a squirmer. She was so calm and easy mannered. And she was a kisser, she would always lick my lips to pieces, most people who seen that would be repulsed, but I would just laugh and call it kisses and it was cute because she would grab my face with both paws while she was doing it. Although she had a calm and gentle manner, she did have a bit of a wild streak to her, when she was in the mood, she could be a real fool. She would do her little dances of joy and her frantic doking and all of a sudden she would bump her head into the wall, fall back and get right back up and start doing it again, this dubbed her the nickname "Airy Airhead" and "twinkle toes" My little Angleface loved everyone, human and animal, she did not discriminate, she looked at everyone she encountered as friends. She was too good for this world, probably why she was called back to be with the other angels. Only here I am left with a overwhelming pain from her loss. I will always feel that she left us too soon, the only comfort is knowing that we always let her know how much she was loved and adored and I can only hope she can feel it now in Heaven. I love you always my special little Airy Eris. RIP my Angelface.

I think its more difficult when they are so young. Demon was also only 3 years and half when he died of lymphoma. I still hold my tears today. I still have the mixed emotions.

From your short story, its easy to see Airy was such a special little girl !
She is now at peace, and she will be your official angel from now on.

That is the difficult thing Annik, they left us so young, and Like me, you never had much chance to prepare yourself with Demon, but he too was not sick for very long. It just comes and takes them from us so fast. Its really unfair. They should both still be here with us.
