FLSAC is looking to expand its membership. We have adjusted our membership fees to $5.00 per person, or $10.00 for a family annual membership.
It has come to my attention that the membership application on-line has not been working since the site was migrated, it has now been fixed:

If you would like electronic copies of the membership application and society's objectives, please send me an email at: flsac@live.com
Although we are a registered non-profit society we are looking to acquire Registered Charitable status through the federal government and proof of an active membership will go a long way to having our application approved. Therefore, would you please consider joining FLSAC and letting your friends and family know they are welcome to join as well if they support the society's objectives. If you have already joined thank you for your patronage!
Our Annual General Meeting will be held Sunday, May 23, 2010 in Moncton, NB this year and all are welcome to attend in person or via Skype. More information to follow with time and place.
This year we will be holding a formal election of Board of Directors and all paid members are eligible to vote and to sit on the Board. The current board members are standing for re-election (and there is room for at least ten new board members):
* Aletha Dobie (NB)
* Tressie Dutchyn (NS)
* Ashley Galantai (NB)
* Heather McLeod (NS)
* Mindy Russell (NL)
If anyone is interested in being on the Board of Directors or nominating someone to the Board, please let us know via email at: flsac@live.com by the deadline of April 15th.
We hold board meetings via Skype every 2-3 months to accommodate the broad geographical distances of our board members. Participation in board meetings is required in order to sit on the Board of Directors.
