Would it be big enough for temporary living quarters?

The SuperPet cage certainly would be suitable as a temporary home. Its identical to the one I use when I get a new surrender in to keep it isolated from the others. Also great as a travel cage in the back of the car and I use mine as a convalescent cage for sick or convalescing post-surgical ferrets.
When we did our transport last year from Maine we used cages like that. If I can find the picture of one, I'll post it to give you some ideas of how it can be set up.
