Hi Group! I tried uploading some photos but the uploader was giving me some problems. Here is a video of my two boys and my nephew...don't worry I keep a close eye on them all when they play together. My nephew thinks they are mice www.facebook.com/v/507190245586Hope this worked. I will work on putting up some pictures later on. Cheers, Jen

PS-> Rupert is the mostly white one with the grey tail and Jacob is the one with the brown tail. They are both very chubby in this video...it's during the winter and my boys seem to gain weight and longer fur then.

Awwww!!! What little darlings. Are they siblings?? Love the no sense of smell pic lol. I love their coloring, I seen some that color in Pets Unlimited a few months ago, It was really hard to not walk out of that store without them.

Hi! Thanks for the comments.
No they're not siblings but they act like it. Although when we first introduced Jacob we thoguht they hated each other. It was our first time seeing two ferrets interact and we really weren't ready to see the playfighting they do. Personality-wise they're completly different. Rupert has always been slightly larger and lazier. He loves to cuddle which I've been told is strange for a ferret and he loves any kind of meat or ferret treat. He's not quite as agile as Jacob either. Also Rupert is deaf...which I've been told is not as common in ferrets of his coloring but I guess it does happen. He doesn't seem botherd at all by it except that it's hard to find him if he curls up in one of the play boxes we have for him because he doesn't hear us making noise.
Jacob is very hyperactive, curious and bright even for a ferret. He is constantly finding his way into and out of things. His life's goal is to completely destroy a room in under 20 seconds and he's getting pretty close to fulfilling it. He is an incredibly fussy eater in that he won't touch anything other than his pellet food...not even furitone. He also jumps very high and has no fear of anything. Anyway that's my proud ferret parent rave haha. I'd love to hear more about everyone elses ferrets! Jen

Anyway that's my proud ferret parent rave haha. I'd love to hear more about everyone elses ferrets! Jen Hahaha!! You have me laughing here with the little bio you wrote about Jacob, he sounds like a lot of fun My Pandora is albino, she is supposed to be deaf but I have doubs about that because she is so alert, she could be sleeping and the littlest sound and her head is up looking around, I tried shaking keys and squeaking squeak toys and every time I do it she responds, so I am sure she is not deaf, even though the vet told me that she probably is. My Eris sounds a lot like your Rupert. She loves cuddling, I pick up Pandora and Loki and they try to squirm away but when I pick Eris up she just goes limp and falls asleep, she even begs to be picked up, if I ignore her she will climb my leg until I do pick her up, whenever she feels like she is ready for a nap she goes right for me because she would rather fall asleep on me than off on her own somewhere, she really loves human interaction. I got her when she was a little baby, so perhaps this is why because Loki was 7 months when I got him and Pandora was 9 months. Also I was told that baby ferrets are prone to nipping and biting, Eris never nipped when she was a baby, and still til this day she still hasn't nipped anyone ever, not even in play, she is such a gentle little girl. She will be a year old on October 19th. And for Pandora, same goes for her, hasn't bit anyone yet(well she bites my hubby when they play rough)..Loki on the other hand is a different story lol.
