Ferrets trained to hunt rats

I left another post about using ferret urine to repel rats from nesting in the walls of our house, but I have a second question:
Does anybody know of someone who has ferrets trained to hunt mice and rats? I know this used to be common a long time ago.

It is illegal in Canada to do any ferreting (hunting with ferrets).
It is still common practice in some places in Europe, but again, illegal in Canada.
