Question, what would be a good digging material.. My ferrets love to dig. They dug in snow that i brought in but snows gone now as well they pooped in it so i dont want to get anything expensive because someone will use the washroom in it n then i'll have to throw it all out.. As well i tried balls but they got bord of them .. not as fun as actual...digging.. digging into something. ???Any ideasss??

Long-grain rice is something people use. However, they may also poop in it and the rare ferret will eat it, which risks an obstruction. But it rarely happens. I do have one who has a penchant for rug frnges and dry rice and therefore, I can't have a rice box.
A box of ping-pong balls is another really excellent choice. I believe one of the people who posts here has one. If they get bored with it, take it away for a few weeks and reintroduce it. Its suddenly a new toy!
Shredded newspaper.
I've seen a box filled with empty pill bottles.
And if you are really brave and don't mind a mess.... unfertilized potting soil also works. Mind you, they will require a bath after as well.

I had purchase lots of dried marroconi pasta when it came on sale ... they play so much in it... (never pooped or tried to eat it...)
let me know if its a good idea or not.

Welcome to the forum!
We'd love to know about your fuzzkids!
Macaroni is an excellent idea, its non-toxic and although not great nutritionally for them if they do eat it, it won't hurt them.

That is a great idea...never thought of pasta.....I always used rice the raw stuff none of the 5min stuff. I was told if they eat it you don't it to have enough time for it to expand in the their bellies and then cause a blockage:) Thanks for the idea!
Keep us updated on how they like it!
