I finally got to bring our newest addition, Ella, home yesterday! She is approx 2 years old and she is the tinest ferret I have ever seen! She looks like a 3 month old.....she is sooooo tiny She was already on Evo brand food so that worked out good. I introduced her to my 2 ferrets, Max and Annie yesterday outside of the cage and they seemed to like each other. It will be awhile yet before I place them in the same cage together. I will take some pictures soon of the difference in size between her and my other two. She seems to be happy though. Once I put her in her cage, she had a little snack and went right into her little hammock I placed in there along with a little teddy bear.

And is this wee princess the vicious biter who was attacking human children Sounds to me like Missy Ella has landed in the perfect home ;D My Tortellini who passed away at almost 7 in January was also teeny, the size of a kit. Don't let her size fool you - I bet she's full of mischief . Would love to see somes pics... Warmest Congratulations! Tressie

Thanks! She is settling in well. We did give her a bath as she was very dirty and that is when she bit us......after the bath was over.....LOL....she was warning us to never do that again! hahaha We have discovered that if you put your fingers in the cage that is when she will bite but once she is out of the cage she doesn't bite. My guess is that the smaller children were teasing her through the cage and since she is so small, she was defending herself. She is sweet when she wants to be but she will tell you when she doesn't want to be bothered. My two just looks so huge in comparision to her! She loves my daughter who is 16 and will snuggle with her. I think she knows that my daughter is not scared of her so she feels comfortable with her. The only one scared of her is my hubby as he is already a little nervous around ferrets........and he has been around them for 5 years! The dogs also seem to be giving her the distance she needs and they stay away from her. Funny how they seem to know
