Does anyone know if there are any Ferret Shows anywhere in Canada? Just like they have their dog and cat shows.

I know there's some in the USA but don't know any in Canada. That said, the general rules for these shows (if you don't know them already) ; your ferrets must be healthy, on date with vaccinations, must be willing to be handled by strangers (they check ears, nose, eyes, fur, paws, belly, mouth ect), should have a glossy and super soft coat ... Your ferret mus be willing to travel .. In general ferrets don't mind car traveling but some ferts don't like it, so Shows are not the ideal job for all fuzzies. lol However, FLSAC sometimes do Ferret Frolic in NB Its a great opportunity for you to meet other ferret parents and for your ferrets to meet other ferrets. We don't have them here as yet! Canada has only a fraction of the number of ferrets that the U.S. do. In 2003, The American Ferret Association reported there were approximately 4 million ferrets in the United States. I would be surprized if we had 100,000.
Therefore, they have more ferret expert vets, cool stuff like ferret shows, etc.
