Everyday I check my pets toys, bedding and stuff. I also check their whole body to make sure everything is ok. Today, while I was checking Demon and Johnny, I found out there's a little bit of fur missing at the very bottom of Johnny's tail. You can't really see it unless you check carefuly, becaue there's still fur, but you start noticing some is missing. He is going to be 2 years old this October 22nd. I know there's no age for illness and this can happen all the time, but I though adrenal disease was more common in older ferrets ? So now I will sure make an appointment with Dr. Drmac but I wonder if it can be something else ? The only thing I know that starts with missing fur on the tail is adrenal disease. My heart feels broken now, Johnny is so young and he is a real sweetheart ; he is very dear to us

We are hoping and praying that Johnnys condition is just a seasonal thing, or a minor rash of some sort or maybe just a dumb flea . love and prayers TayLa n' AbbY

Hi there, Just want to share that Johnny just seen Dr.Drmac today and he thinks he has allergies. Which makes sense, I think, as recently, we used Yesterday's News scented instead of our regular Yesterday's News non-perfume. I feel really bad as this was our mistake - we did not really check when we grab the bag and when we found out at home, just though this will be okay because they are "all the same". Big big mistake Dr.Drmac found Johnny's tail, paws and belly skin really red and show us that his skin (on his back, neck and so) is pink, not red. So that's the reason why he thinks he has allergies and suggest us to change my ferrets' litter for the old one. Which we just did I feel a bit stupid lol but I've learned from this experience .. Thanks for your prayers

That is fantastic news! I am so happy for you and your ferts ;D And don't worry, it is very easy to make a mistake. Just get back to the unscented stuff and things will go back to normal
