No, not new ferts!
A futon and a much needed air conditioner! Well, 3 new litter boxes too, since Fred has decided that under the futon is the best place to poopie!! We had to put a futon in the ferret room since we don't have a spare bedroom and we are having over night company soon. We will sleep in there and our guests will sleep in our bed.
Ginny loves this thing! She loves that there are creases and bumps. She snuggles in the holey parts and slithers like a snake in the crease! So silly!
And, the best thing ever!! It was pushing 30 outside and in my house yesterday but the ferrets were nice and cool. I had to close the door to the room in order for it to stay nice and cool.
The ferrets weren't happy that I had to close the door. When it cooled off a little later in the evening I cracked the door so the ferrets could come out into their little viewing area and have a look around but still keep most of the cool air in there. They laid down out there for quite a while last night.

And some cute ones just because
Fred, enjoying his mushy food. The only thing that he will eat now that he has insulinoma. Poor boy! He is doing well on the pred. though and seems to be handling it all very well.
Ginny being cute! Since Fred is eating only mushy food now Ginny is taking advantage. She won't eat anything but mushy food now too! And this is from the drama queen who gags if I try to give her chicken baby food or canned a/d food! She has put on quite a bit of weight in the past week and a half! I call her Ginny the Tank now!
And a cute one of Fred from the other night. He loves that bed lately. He has had it for over a year now but in the past month he has really started liking it! It was dark in the room and the camera didn't focus too well, sorry about the picture quality.
Thanks for looking!!
