Hello all,
Silly question but I just got home from work and Oreo Filling my feline friend had string hanging from her bum. I called the emergency vet and he told me to cut the string to her hole and load her with Tonic Lax. Unfortunately Sneak and Chewie took up most of that tube when they had their blocks earlier this winter. So I only have a bit but also have ferret lax...I am pretty confident that it will be ok but I wanted to double check.
Thanks XOOX Aletha

the ferret lax should be fine, but if you have some plain old vaseline you could give that to your cat. ferret lax, and cat lax for that matter, is pretty much just vaseline with vitamins and flavour added. frodo, my big kitty, will only eat the vaseline when he sees the ferrets and doggy eating it, he is jealous like that . if you can't get your kitty to eat it you can just put some on her paw and get her to lick it off. good luck!

Cat lax I bought this for my constipated Persian cat refuses to eat it ' I have to put it in a syringe with her food and sneak it in but anyway I thought the ferrets could use something cuz they're hacking up hairballs do you think it was safe I gave him all about I size of my tip of my finger? not to wide they loved it they are insisting more" but I am afraid that too much will cause a laxative issue is it safe to give my ferrets this cat lax i belive the only difference is the name on the Tub. got three ferrets' and 2 full tubs of this laxative.
