i know that a lot of us on here have other pets so i thought i would start a thread to show off our furkids besides our ferrets besides fred and ginny i have 2 cats, blue and frodo, and 2 dogs, iorek and brom this is blue, she is 12 years old. this is frodo, he is 8 years old this is iorek (pronounced your-ick) he is a samoyed and he is 1 1/2 years old and last but not least, this is brom! he is brand new today! well, we got him today, he is not quite 6 weeks old. he is a german shepherd/husky cross. (i know he should still be with mommy but the people wanted the puppies gone already so we took him since we have iorek to help with the puppy "lessons" and besides he was not eating quality food so i wanted to get him on good food as fast as i can) i think that he and iorek are going to be best of friends this is them together only about 2 hours after brom got home thank you for looking. i look forward to seeing all of your other pets too!

OMG mindy, you have the most beautiful animals, and I LOVE all of their names. What are you feeding Frodo?? He is huge!! i love big cats like that. Im also a huge fan of Siamese cats Iorek is utterly beautiful, Samoyed's are the most beautiful dogs, I had one growing up, he lived to be 23 in human years, and a large majority of his life he had to live with a fake hip because he got struck by a milk truck when he was younger. He was a real survivor. I bet his is going to be a awesome big brother for little Brom. how lucky are you to have a little puppy, he is a gorgeous one too, He looks pretty big for 6 weeks, I think he is gonna be a big dog and i love his name, sounds like it came out of Norse mythology. As for myself, asides from my three ferrets, all I have is my cat Goku, my gerbil Sabastian and my guinea pig Nidoking, his companion Sparta just passed away on Mother's Day, it was a real sad day . I would absolutely love to have a dog but cannot have a dog where I live, I am relocating soon enough so who knows what the future holds, but I really do want a dog, I had dogs my whole life and I feel like there is something missing when I do not have one, I would like to get either a Old English Sheepdog or a Boston Terrier, but really it don't matter. My last dogs were a Siberian Husky (Alpine) and a terrier mix (Little Guy), I lost them weeks apart from each other, it was horrible but now I am finally ready for another one..just have to wait until I am somewhere where I can keep one.

thank you Airy Brom is actually a name from the eragon books. i am not sure if you read them. they are children's books but my husband and i love them. Brom was a wise old story teller in the book. i won't tell more in case someone wants to read them 23 human years!! that is great my husband and i waited 8 years to finally be able to get a dog - iorek - and now we finally have a brother for him. we are a complete family now i know what you mean about something missing without a dog. i grew up with dogs all my life and i am a dog person above all other animals. don't get me wrong, i LOVE my cats and my ferrets to pieces, but there is something about dogs that i connect to on a different level. when my kitties have lived LONG, happy, healthy lives i will not be getting more cats. i will most likely always have ferrets and i know that i will always have a dog. i hope that you can get a doggy soon i forgot to add that i would love to see pictures of your other furkids ;D also, i am sorry that you lost a piggy. it is so hard to lose a pet.

Im not too good with posting pics but Ill give it another try This is Sabastian Here are my wonderful three amigos Here is Goku, Nidoking and Sparta(RIP) Also, I said I was done with cats but there has been a big beautiful cat that has been coming around here, I started letting her in and feeding her and I assume that she is a stray or abandoned because the first time i fed her she ate a big bowl of dry food, a whole can of cat food and was still hungry, she ate that like she hasn't ate in weeks, she was very rough looking and most of her long fur was very matted so I spent a good hour cutting them out and grooming her, she looks a lot better now and seems a lot happier, she is super friendly but I still have to wonder if she does belong to someone..and they just neglected to take care of her matting fur, she had no collar and i went around this neighborhood and other nearby ones and they said that they all seen her around and have also been feeding her but nobody knew if she has a owner or not, anyways a few nights ago I let her out when my kids were sleeping, I told her that if she has a home out there to go to it, anyways when I came in Ivy(my 9 year old) was awake and asked where she was, I told her that I let her go because she might have a owner out there who could be missing her..Ivy starts crying and i tell her that saying "If you love something, set it free, if it is meant to be it will come back to you" well anyways the next morning(6:00) my mother who lives next door called me and said "Do you know that that cat is meowing at your door? I opened my door and there she was, she came in with these great big meows and purring, rubbing against my legs..so does this mean it is meant to be?? I told the kids that we will not adopt her but if she wants to adopt us she is more than welcome to stay here..Ivy named her Millie and she has been coming and going ever since ..so I guess I just might have another cat

great pictures! thank you for posting them that first one is super cute well, they are all super cute, but something about that first little guy... :-D millie sounds like a nice kitty. i hope that there is no one looking for her. it is probably a good idea to call the local shelters and vet clinics and also put up posters in case someone is looking for her. you don't want to get too attached and then find out that she has a loving family looking for her.

Well I have an ad up in the lost and found section on Kijiji and nobody has responded to it yet and i also checked the animal rescue league and there is no cat with resembling her reported missing, also asked around and not one person knows where she came from, She always wants out..don't think she is litter trained and when i let her out she never leaves my yard..just yesterday I had to rescue her out of a tree, she meowed and meowed until I came to my rescue.
I just really need to know if she has someone looking for her because I am moving away in a month or so and I really don't want to leave her behind if she has nowhere to go or nobody to care for her.
